Last summer when I was on my vacation in Crikvenica, Croatia I took an opportunity to sneak out and to visit a local gallery where I came accross on exhibition called "Raw - The criticism of commonness". The author of these iron pictures is Sanja Svrljuga, a member of association called "Metal Guru ". She used some comic charactaters, perfect housewives, sexual objects in context of mocking modern society which is nothing more than group of consumers. Therefore she wanted to point on apsurdity of agressive media attacks and their devastating results such as a range of riality shows, soap operas, shopping malls. She also stroke on erotika which is nowadays in a form of cheap everyday fun accesible in every moment on every place.
I love this technique which I have never seen before. It is very interesting along with this a litlle dark grunge style.
